Our Christian Sympathy:
...to the family of
Imogene McMillan, who passed away December 17th with services held
Thursday, Dec. 20th at Warrensburg C.P. Church
...to the family of
Richard Adams, who passed away January 13th with services held
January 17th at Warrensburg C.P. Church.
Our Mission:
"We believe that since we are saved by God's
grace through faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior that we are
set free by God, free to accept ourselves and to love God and our
neighbor. We are constantly reminded that Jesus Christ teaches that
the greatest commandments are to love the Lord your God with all
your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with
all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself. In
response to God's great gift of grace in Jesus Christ and guided by
the power of the Holy Spirit we strive to serve Christ in our daily
tasks and to live holy and joyful lives. Caring for others is the
most basic and natural result of our faith, and is our Christian
response to a world which is so often cruel and uncaring. We
believe that all people everywhere need to experience the love of
God, and that we are called by Christ to reach out to others and to
touch their lives with kindness and concern." |
